LIPO-SAFE Bag 18x23cm - Safe Bag for Li-pol Batteries
A secure, closed Lipo-Safe bag, made of fireproof material, increases the safety of the charging process and storage of lithium-polymer packets. This bag reduces the effects of possible ignition, is resistant to fire and cuts off the access of air.
Technical data
Dimensions: 18cm x 23cm
Color: Silver
Number of cells that will fit in the bag: 6pcs - 3S 2200mA
LIPO-SAFE Instructions for use
Make sure the charger is properly connected (polarity!).
Place the packages in a sealed bag while charging.
Close with the top flap of the Li-Pol Bag, ensuring tightness.
While charging the packages, extreme caution should be exercised and the process of charging the batteries should be visually supervised.
Attention:
The two poles of the battery must not be short-circuited.
The battery must not be discharged with a current greater than the rated current (unless in a short time to the max. Current).
Do not use or store the battery when it may have a mechanical damage or when it is exposed to high temperature, e.g. behind a car window, outdoors in strong sunlight or near heating devices. Thermal or mechanical damage (puncture, crushing) of the battery in practically every case will result in irreparable damage.
Always remember to correctly connect the (+) and (-) terminals, in accordance with their intended use - the positive polarity (red "+") cable should be connected to the positive port in the regulator or charger (also marked with the "+" symbol).
As ignition may occur while charging the battery, the battery to be charged should be placed on a non-flammable, heat-resistant and non-conductive material like LIPO-SAFE bag.
Do not overcharge or discharge lithium-polymer batteries beyond their extreme safe voltage, i.e. min 2.7V and max 4.2V per cell. To avoid this, you should always use good-quality, efficient regulators and chargers - never leave the battery in the model connected to the regulator (e.g. overnight).
Lithium batteries should not be mixed to work in one system with Li-Pol cells of a different capacity, manufacturer, voltage, or batteries of a different type, such as NiCD or NiMH.
The maximum temperature that the battery can reach is 60 degrees C when discharging and 45 degrees C when charging.
The battery is factory-charged to 50% of its capacity. However, it is advisable to run a complete discharge and full charge cycle before using the battery for the first time.
