Mini USB to TTL UART 3.3V / 5V Serial Converter - CH340E - Alternative CH340G Module
The module is based on CH340E chip, works with 3.3 and 5V logic.
The converter is used in places where a serial port is used for communication, i.e .: GPS, GSM, Arduino systems, routers, decoders, etc.
It is also used to program some microcontrollers, eg Arduino. The original serial applications are completely compatible.
Technical data
Power supply: 5V, 3.3V
USB interface compatible with USB V2.0.
Emulates the standard UART interface, used to update serial peripherals, or expand the UART interface via the USB bus.
Hardware full duplex UART interface, built-in transceiver buffer, supports transmission rate from 50bps to 2Mbps.
Supports MODEM RTS, DTR, DCD, RI, DSR and CTS common coupler signal.
Through the external level conversion chip, it provides an additional interface RS232, RS485, RS422 etc.
CH340R supports SIR communication according to IrDA criterion, supports baud rate from 2400bps to 115200bps.
Software compatible with CH341
Dimensions: 16 x 18mm
Pitch: 2.54mm
If you want to use the converter to upload a program to Arduino or similar systems, you should restart the entire external system immediately after compiling (and at the beginning of uploading) (the reset button on the Arduino PCB). This is how the programming sequence is defined, if the microcontroller is not restarted, the program may not be loaded.
Or use the DTR pin by connecting it to the RST Arduino, then this action will be triggered automatically.
