Reed Switches

Reed switch is a hermetic electronic switch controlled by magnetic field. It usually consists of a glass bulb inside which there are sunken contacts made of a ferromagnetic material. The contacts of the reed switch close (or open in case of NC - normally closed switches) under the influence of the directed external magnetic field.
