2004A LCD 4X20 Blue Display with HD44780 Driver and I2C Converter Arduino
Popular alphanumeric LCD display, powered with the voltage of 5 V. Each of the two lines can display 16 characters. The set includes a soldered I2C converter, thanks to which only two wires are needed to operate the screen - SDA and SCL. Using I2C bus, you can control both the displayed text and the backlight from Arduino sketch, turning them on or off at any time. The board also has a potentiometer to adjust display contrast.

Ability to define your characters
The standard set of libraries and sample programs downloaded with the Arduino environment includes the LiquidCrystal library, which enables the display to be operated.
Control - The display can be controlled in the following modes:
8-bit, without reading the busy flag - for transmission, you need eight data bus lines and two control lines (RS, E - RW connected to the ground).
8-bit with the reading of the busy flag - for transmission, eight data bus lines and three control lines (RS, E, RW) are required.
4-bit with readout of the busy flag - for transmission, four data bus lines and three control lines (RS, E, RW) are required.
4-bit without reading the busy flag - transmission requires four data bus lines and two control lines (RS, E - RW connected to the ground).
