Arduino LEONARDO R3 Atmel Atmega32u4 AVR
- Arduino LEONARDO R3 Atmel Atmega32u4 AVR
Leonardo R3 is another development board (clone) fully compatible with Arduino. It was equipped with an ATmega32u4 microcontroller. We have 20 digital inputs / outputs to use - 7 of them can be used to generate PWM signals and another 12 can work as analog inputs.
The advantage of this board is that the ATmega32u4 microcontroller has a hardware USB interface. As a result, it does not require an additional microcontroller or converter to implement this functionality. This allows for very easy creation of applications emulating the keyboard, mouse or joystick, thanks to which, by connecting to the Arduino, for example, a joystick module, we can control the car in a computer game, or with the mouse, which gives many possibilities.
