Electronic water hardness meter. This tester will certainly be useful in everyday life when checking the purity of drinking water, as well as in other applications (e.g. aquaristics or laboratory tests).

The device is extremely easy to use - just remove the cap and immerse the electrodes in water. The built-in LCD display will enable a very accurate and legible measurement of water hardness (its contamination with inorganic compounds) and its temperature.

It does not require any external power sources (electrical network), but only two LR44 batteries, which makes it mobile and, above all, safe in contact with water.

Technical data:

Measurement range: 1-9990 ppm, automatic * 10 above 9999 ppm
Battery: 1.5V * 2 LR44 button (not included
Error range: ± 2%
Product size: 15.5 * 3.1 * 2.1 (CM)

Your previous questions regarding this product
Hi, does this product measure hardness (calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in the water?

Hi John,

this device doesn't detect any particular chemical formulas. It measures number of particles per volume in liquid.

Since calcium carbonate barely dissolves in water, you would assume reads taken do reflect CaCO3 concentration, hence water hardness.
