Dust Sensor GP2Y1014 OZ14 PM2.5 - Air Quality/Purity Monitor

Sharp - Optical Dust Sensor GP2Y1014 OZ14 is particularly effective at detecting very fine particles such as cigarette smoke and is widely used in air purification systems.
It can be used in many projects. We used it in the design of our weather station.
The sensor is detecting particles that small as PM2.5. These particles have a diameter of 0.8μm, that is 1/1000mm. As a result, it is very accurate and its signal is easy to read.
The signal of the sensor is a voltage that changes depending on the amount of particles suspended in the air. The sensor operates on the basis of optics, therefore, for correct reading, measurements should be made in shaded places or housings.
The module cannot be exposed to high air humidity and dew point.
