To program Arduino board using this converter, connect as follows:

FTDI pin -> Arduino pin

GND -> GND
CTS -> not connected
VCC -> 5V (or 3.3V - set jumper on FTDI board!)
TXD ->RX (D0)
RXD ->TX (D1
DTR -> GND

Hold Arduino Reset button until the upload begins.
