A microcontroller from the AVR family from Atmel in a 28-pin through-hole housing - DIP. Powered with the voltage in the range from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, clocked with a clock signal with a frequency of up to 16 MHz. It has 8 KB of Flash memory, 1 KB of RAM, 512 B EEPROM.
AVR does not have a bootloader, upload it using the USBasp programmer. You can upload programs to the microcontroller with the uploaded bootloader using the USB - UART converter.
