Photosensitive Sensor KY-018 - Photoresistor - Light Sensor Module for Arduino
KY-018 photosensitive sensor is a sensor for detecting light and changing its intensity. Very sensitive.
The photoresistor module is used to signal the presence or absence of light.
You can easily detect light levels for your Arduino controller.
The module consists of a photoresistor (5 MOhm dark, up to about 20 Ohm bright), which changes its resistance depending on the light intensity level, and a 10 KOhm resistor.
When connecting the power supply, the signal pin provides variable analogue voltage value depending on current light intensity, e.g. with a 5V power supply, when the sensor is illuminated at the maximum, we get 0V, and this value increases to 5V while less and less light falls on the sensor.
