WeMos D1 Mini PRO ESP8266EX Module Arduino IoT
D1 Mini Pro development board with WiFi ESP8266 module and 16 MB Flash memory, equipped with a ceramic antenna and an external antenna connector. The module can be programmed from the Arduino IDE. WeMos D1 Mini Pro
The Wemos D1 mini PRO system is a board with soldered ESP8266-12F. It has a built-in USB-UART (CH340) converter, thanks to which we can program the board via USB (a micro USB cable is enough) without an additional converter. In the D1 mini Pro, the use of a ready-made ESP-12F module was abandoned and everything was designed from scratch. The ESP8266 chip remained the same. The USB-serial converter has been changed to CP2104. Instead of 4MB flash here we have 16MB. In addition, there is no place for a PCB antenna here, instead a better 3dB ceramic antenna was used. There is also a place on the board for the U.FL (IPX) antenna connector. Unlike the D1 mini - Wemos D1 mini Pro is a one-sided construction. The bottom of the board is flat and there are no components on it. In both versions of the board, we have 9 GPIO ports that support PWM, I2C, SPI and 1-Wire. There is a 3.3V voltage regulator on the board, so the module can be powered from the USB port, e.g. using a charger with a micro USB connector. Wemos D1 can be used in 3 ways. Using AT commands, programming with NodeMCU in LUA language or the simplest with Arduino IDE.
