M16x2 Helicoil Thread Repair Insert

Helicoil inserts resemble the shape of extension springs. They are made of a special profiled wire with a diamond cross-section.

They create internal and external threads with high concentricity. After fixing the Helicoil insert, the element is broken off in the place of the cut notch.

Helicoil inserts are also installed in soft materials of low strength in order to obtain threads with higher strength, resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, and with a low coefficient of friction.
