VL6180 Time of Flight Range Finder - High Accuracy Optical Ranging Sensor CJMCU Module - Arduino
Digital rangefinder VL6180, operating in the range of up to 10 cm. Communicates via I2C bus, works with a voltage of 2.8 V. In this sensor, the distance is determined based on the measurement of the light beam time, which provides greater precision and resistance to interference.
This module is based on the VL6180 sensor used in mobile phones. The operating voltage is 2.8 V, so a voltage converter is needed to connect to both 5 V and 3.3 V systems.
Unlike traditional rangefinders, here the distance is determined by measuring the return time of the light beam reflected from the measured surface, which gives very good precision and high resistance to interference.
Ability to:
measure distance within 10 cm
ambient light intensity
gesture recognition
